AYIFOMATIK (powered by DLAU) is a non-profit organization primarily composed of former university classmates of Haitian origin devoted to providing financial self-reliance opportunities to Haitian Youth.
We aim to do so by providing quality training on high demand technology skills, by facilitating post training opportunities such as internships and jobs, and by continuously scaling the programs for sustainability and reach.

the program
Our training program intends to deliver professional training on high demand technology skills in Data Analytics and Data Engineering, work readiness skills, and facilitate post training internships with national/international technology firms. Students will have an opportunity to enroll in either course.
Why data engineering and analytics?
Businesses, small and large, are overwhelmed by unstructured data that is exponentially growing due to the increase in machine-generated data from IoT devices, smart cities, sensors, cameras, etc. Since the bulk of data generated today is unstructured data, organizations must find ways to manage and analyze it so that they can act on the data and make important business decisions. Thus, organizations are increasingly turning to Data Engineers to structure data and Data Analysts to extract actionable insights to increase revenue and work efficiency.
